Hi kudosu.
The server seems very sluggish, and has been for some time. Is there any way to improve this??? (I presume it's pretty hard to persuade if it's free hosting.)

Hello Angus,
Unfortunately, the forum is hosted by a free hosting company, so I don't have any control over the speed of the service.
If it continues to be slow, I will contact them about it. |

It might be worth asking them if this is a temporary problem or is it a consequence of the traffic you're generating to this forum. It just seems to have become particularly slow in the last week or two.
One thing which might marginally improve page loading is to disable personalised icons and cull the number of available emoticons. Just a thought. |

I did ask the hosts about forum speed, and they said their servers were only running at 50% capacity. But it does seem to have improved since I asked.
I've also changed a few preferences that might have made a difference in some threads. |
