Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you guys know about the Sudoku game I just released. I've used these forums as a resource while developing this game and they've been quite helpful.
The Zen of Sudoku is a game (generator, helper, solver) and while it's in beta currently, there are no known bugs. It is Windows only with plans on moving to OS X.
There are no special system or software requirements other than your basic mouse/keyboard with 32 megs RAM. You can read more about it and download it form here.
It is written in C++ using the Popcap framework.
Thanks for your help and let me know what you think!

That's pretty sweet Charlie. I just finished a two-player Sudoku and--honestly--wish I had evaluated yours during the design phase. I programmed the "Sudoku Too" game that runs in MSN Messenger (windows only, and only in messenger--not Trillian etc.) with Flash (player 7).
Here's a link to instructions: www.phillipkerman.com/sudoku
I think the two player competitive version has some nice game-play. (It actually stresses me out to play the game.) It was interesting working on how the two-player business would work because we had no examples to build off of... that is, I certainly didn't see any two-player sudoku games out there.
Check it out or IM me and I'll play a game or give a tour. (See link above for my IM) |
