Hi all, I'm new at this highly addictive game and love competing against others. I'm not v. good - but improving.
I have a questions for all you Sudoku/IT masters though. Is there anyway to block/prevent software solutions to ensure a even playing field? Could you vary the game slightly with a random/luck element that can't be written against.
I'm sure I'm being creamed in some online competitions by BOTS. Look forward to anyone's thoughts. |

It's impossible unless you change the rules so much that it turns into a completely different game.
Sudokus are extremely easy to solve for a computer and there is no help for it. Except making an EXTREMELY large sudoku that need NP complete solving techniques perhaps.. but those wouldn't be much fun. |

Online competitions are a complete waste of time (IMHO) for that very reason. |
