Hi. Me and my brother have just released a Sudoku Program made in Liberty Basic at www.sudoku.frihost.net
It features:
*save/open your sudoku
*type in from newspapers/internet
*solves most types (not trial and error ones yet)
*gives many different types of hints: from small pushes in the right direction to complete explanations of complex solving-methods!
*undo/redo/set marker functions that will allow you to backtrack and jump around in your solving procedure
*allow solving with and without use of candidates
*rate the difficulty, and not just in a subjective hard/easy way, but a complete description and count of all the solving methods needed to solve any sudoku.
*Make your own sudoku! No knowledge needed, just start typing in numbers and the program will guide you safely through it!
*Automatic functions for posting both your sudoku file and a picture of it.
*print out your sudoku, save them as high resolution pics.
*built in updater
please let us know what you think of it! If anyone is interested in the code, just email me!
