As far as I know the definition of "Logically solvable" is quite different among Japanese puzzler. Of course, uniqueness is most disputable. (actually uncommon) But also some people exclude chain type tecqnique from "logic". Without chain arrangement, Puzzle makers in Japan issued some tough puzzles for human/pencil solvers. "Nanmon Nanpule ni Chousen 2" is my recommendation. All puzzles includes this book are able to solve without chain. (but you need swordfish and jellyfish) This book is thought to be one of the hardest book in Japan.
