I use "Sudoku Susser" to help me generat a puzzle. It's not a puzzle designer only a sudoku solver and it tells me if it's valid or not. It has one single solution and I know all the ways to solve it because it evaluates it and tells me.

My problem is, I don't know how to make a fancy pattern and have it be successful.

Here's another one I did.

Code:

+-------+-------+-------+
| 1 . 9 | . . 8 | . . . |
| . 7 . | . 1 . | . 9 2 |
| . . 4 | 9 . . | 1 . . |
+-------+-------+-------+
| 7 . . | . . 6 | . 3 . |
| . 4 . | 3 7 . | . . 6 |
| 3 . 6 | . 8 . | 2 . . |
+-------+-------+-------+
| 9 . . | . . 5 | . 2 . |
| . . 5 | . 2 . | . 7 . |
| . 1 . | 8 . . | . . 5 |
+-------+-------+-------+
