Please study this example thread:
http://www.sudoku.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=10952#10952
I see some people are able to post code as a nice special area. The same for quotes.
But others, including me, fail. Instead, just the word "quote" or "/quote" etc is printed.
Why?

don't click on "Quote" or "Code" from the top-bar.
include
[code]
[code]
instead to start code
and the same with a / before code to end it
[/code]
(/code]
edit: hmm, it didn't work. So I must have made an error somewhere (?)
[code]
12345
[/code]
it seems to work with quote instead of code.
Maybe this forum is blocked for code.
[code]
test
[/code]
I don't know what the difference is between quote and code,
so I guess I'll only use quote in the future |

Thanks, dukuso
Good idea: experiment
Code: | Manually entered xcodex and x/codex |
Quote: | Manually entered xquotex and x/quotex |
Code: | Used bars at top for code |
Quote: | Used bars at top for quote |
Code: | Used alt+C for code |
Quote: | Used alt+Q for quote |

What the?
Everything worked.
I had HTML ON, BBCode ON

Maybe something was off when I was on the other forum.
