I am seriously considering giving up on setbb.com. The "Solving sudoku" forum is almost dead

I've personally found much of the discussion here unintelligible so it's been hard to contribute Smile. The Player's Forum is certainly a good alternative.

My popup blocker seems to work fine and find the pages load reasonably quickly now. A month or two ago the server was almost unusably slow but fortunately that seems to have been fixed.

Of course, these forums sort of define themselves, but I for one have been
somewhat confused and admit to adding to the incomprehensibility factor.
The forum title is "Sudoku Programmers Forum" from which I gathered that
this was largely a group of programmers. So one would expect it to be
fairly technical and possibly incomprehenible. But the "solving sudoku" sublisting
and the discussions here as well, indicate that a more general nature of
discussion is welcome. I was only recently introduced to the "Players" forum,
which I presume to be totally geared toward hand solving.

Then there is the Sudoku Programmers "Programming sudoku" forum for
illustration and discussion of actual coding techniques, I think.

Obviously, there is crossover, because the way players solve Sudoku is
of great interest to those of us doing the programming.

I guess I'm still a bit confused.
