|
|
Hi, guys!
I m currently doing a school project to produce a sudoku game.
but I don't have any ideas to generate the solutions.
It would be useful for me to know how the sudoku solvers from the web "decide" on the difficulty level.
I found this is amazing, but I cannot find the key to start with, I don't understand the logic deep enough. Would you be kind enough to give me a helping hand? |

I would believe that based on your ability to solve sudoku puzzles would determine the difficulty level.
I determine the difficulty level based on how long I spend in solving a puzzle. If I can solve a puzzle in 10-15 minutes, I consider that easy.
If I spend up to 2 or more days, and try numerous different steps (times) till I finally solve the puzzle, I would rate that extreme or difficult or hard+ or super hard or what ever term or word you would want to use. In most cases, it is determined by the people who publish (create) the puzzles. |
