I just improved my forcing chain to also find the following (the yellow cannot be 2):
Is this also a forching chain?

Yes that is a forcing chain.
Anything where all posibilites from a cell cause placements that result in the same conculsion is a forcing chain. |

Thanks. The reason I asked is that the descriptions I read only mention the forcing chain to assign a value to a cell. But in this specific case, only a candidate can be excluded. When used this way, this technique can be used very often. |
