I must be doing something wrong because this "bug" is just too obvious to be for real. "Block Invalid Moves" stops you from making subtle mistakes like removing the valid candidate from a choice of several candidates. However, with "Block Invalid Moves" turned off, Simple Sudoku will still stop you from doing something daft - like trying to put 2 cells of equal value in the same group.
