I stumbled across this puzzle while testing my home-rolled generator, and it captured my attention because of the sheer number of different solving techniques it uses:
Code: |
. . . 2 . . . 1 .
. . 6 3 . 1 . . 7
. 1 . . 9 . . . .
3 5 . . . 9 . 2 .
. . 4 . . . 9 . .
. 6 . 7 . . . 8 4
. . . . 4 . . 5 .
7 . . 9 . 3 8 . .
. 9 . . . 6 . . .
...2...1...63.1..7.1..9....35...9.2...4...9...6.7...84....4..5.7..9.38...9...6... # 95645 FNBTWXYK C26.M/S4.da |
suexrat9 rated it at 212, and Scanraid's Sudoku Solver required the following techniques to solve it:
Y-Wing, Finned X-Wing (regular & Sashimi), Swordfish (regular & Finned), Almost Locked Sets, Aligned Pair Exclusion, Alt. Inference Chains (regular and w/Groups), X-Cycle, XY-Chain, Sue-de-Coq, Death Blossom (x2!), Pattern Overlay Method, and a lot of Bowman Bingo.
And that's all in one puzzle! _________________ Cheers!
