I seem to be in the mood to build all kinds of interesting software these days ... and then give it away.
Here is the next one: SumoCue. This program is a helper for sum-sudokus, a.k.a. Killers.
The program maintains candidates for you, allows number filtering, takes over all the math and helps you find the 'innies' and 'outies'. Puzzles can be dubbed into the program and saved to disk, to be played at a convenient time.
An introduction to the program and a short reference guide can be found at www.sudocue.net/sumocue.php You can also download the program from this page.
If you have comments, post it on my forum.
Enjoy,
Ruud.

A couple of new versions have been released.
The program is capable of handling a variety of sudoku variants, including:
- Killer
- Jigsaw
- Jigsaw Killer
- Toroidal
- Toroidal Killer
- Sudoku-X
- Killer-X
- Killer with diagonal cages
- Killer with missing cages (zero cages in PS)
Any combination of the above that I did not think about.
A DLX solver is on board. Can also be used to generate solution grids.
A human style killer solver is also present.
Freeware, did I mention that?
