Its new GUI allows the user to configure exactly which patterns should be sought by the solver, so non-Nishioers and non-Guessers out there should be happy! As ever, source and binaries are available under GPL at http://sf.net/projects/sudoku. The new release fully supports the 4x4 puzzles that now appear in The Independent - in particular, the 0-F (instead of 1-16) labelling system is supported. Furthermore, the Copy button optionally writes out the puzzle in Pappocom Library Book format, to enable the puzzle to be copied straight into the Pappocom software.
