http://www.sudokuhints.com is a free online sudoku solver written in Javascript
so there are no downloads or controls to install. It offers:
a choice of grid sizes to suit your screen resolution
optional pencilmarks
checking
hints and vague hints
bookmarking any position
solve single step with explanation
solve entire puzzle with each step explained
full step by step undo
clear grid to enter your own puzzle or one from a newspaper
restart back to original position
printing in multiple grid sizes
In addition there are five new graded puzzles each day from mild to
fiendish together with an archive of past puzzles.
We pride ourselves on puzzles that can be solved entirely by logic,
and that use layouts that are symmetrical and pleasing to the eye.

Hi Dave,
Very nice site! I like the hinter (vague...) and the solver. Very intuitive interface and nice puzzles, especially for an "on paper / no pencilmarks" solver like me.
I recommend it!
