|

Hi Philou,
I am also developing a Hitori player, and came up with a solution based on the following techniques;
1- First pattern matching is applied,
2- Then for the remaining cell backtracking and forward checking algorithm is applied,
I also used Delphi (Delphi 7.0)
So far everything is good,
As a second phase of the project, I am trying to develop a solution based on the machine learning techniques, in this case, the program will not include any rule for the game, program itself must understand how to play and must conclude about the rules. There are some machine learning techniques like neural net, reinforcement learning, decision trees. I decided to apply neural network, this technique requires a traning session to create a neural networkç.
To do that training, I have to give the program many hitori boards and solutions, and must say to the program that "these are the boards, these are the solutions, learn how to play." After training it must solve the hitori board given to the program.
For training phase, I have to give many boards (like one million) and solutions, In my program I did not implement a Hitori generator only solver was implemented, If you provide me your software code or If you make a little change in your program to create a bunch of hitori boards and to save them into a text file. (Like a button "Create and save hitori boards")
I would be very grateful to you...
I installed your software nice GUI, nice work...
Hoping to hear from you soon.
Regards, |

I have just tried ver 2010.
Mostly very good.
Keyboard input would help.
Output (copy) would be much better if seperated into solved/givens/markup.
I have no idea why there is a space before each line of the "copy"?
A simply bad idea. (Cannot help, does hurt.)
IMHO |

Hello
Excuse me but i don't understand very well your problem.
What do you want, when you say 'Keyboard input would help. '
When you speak (copy), do you use Ctrl+C and the clipboard ?
Can you send me by mail a copy of your problem.
Excuse my english, and have a good day |

"'Keyboard input would help"
If I highlight a square I would like to type a number and have it entered.
I don't like "click..drag down...click".
No, but same. I click edit, I click copy.
The output requires editing for most other solvers. |
