I just implemented XY-Chains and would like to know whether or not they're considered acceptable when posting solutions. TIA!!! |

Why they shouldn't be acceptable? |

Before implementing XY-Chains, I read through a bunch of old postings and it seemed like there was a lot of negative response to it. However, I later found it being used in solutions. After implementing it, I thought it was great because a lot of my puzzles responded to it. However, I recently came to question its desirability because of (what appears to me to be) its non-deterministic nature. See here http://www.sudoku.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4517 . |
