Opinions on relative difficulty of logic techniques...

Hi all,

Just trying to fine-tune the rating report on my solver/generator.

I've done a very quick (slightly arbitrary, wet-finger-in-the-air guess) sorting of the relative difficulty that each of the common reduction techniques would pose for a human. What I have at the moment (in ascending order) is:

- Simple logic (i.e. one possible in a cell, one possible in a sector)
- Pointing pairs/triplets
- Box/line reduction
- Naked pairs
- Naked triplets
- Hidden pairs
- X-Wing
- Hidden triplets
- Naked quads+
- Hidden quads+
- Swordfish
- "Big Fish" (i.e. jellyfish and onwards...)
- Forcing chains (not yet implemented)
- Super-colouring

A lot of the above is subjective. For example, under many circumstances
I think it's easier to spot an X-Wing than a hidden triplet (depending on the
configuration of the triplet) and the same might even be true of Swordfish.

Any other opinions gratefully received...
