Solving 5 x 5 Letter Sudoku

Hi There,
Being a new member, can anyone help with this 5 x 5 block puzzle with 625 spaces and I think 265 completed letters AND I am getting a real headache trying to solve. Don't know how to input so list it below, BEARING IN MIND THERE ARE 25 ENTRIES ACROSS AND THE SAME NUMBER DOWN (- indicates a space where an unknown letter should be):

solution (5.3 sec on 1Ghz p4)

Thanks gsf, I don't wish to sound ignorant or ungrateful but shouldn't they be all alphabetical letters as the problem did not start with any numerical values.
