Hi, I found this great sudoku puzzle creator and solver. Have a look at it at

It provides different levels of play, an assistant, a generator/creator of games and a solver.

Runs on windows 2000 or xp with .Net 2.0 framework installed!
- highlighting of candidates is possible
- cell candidates can be shown or not
- game can be saved at any state
- ...

Hi,

Never release software on Friday the 13th.

Visually, the program is very nice.
There are a few bugs, like error messages that are not fully displayed.

The most important downside is the complete absence of keyboard support. Put an RSI warning in your program if you want to keep it this way.

Hi,

There is a newer version available at

Added keyboard support for all menus
Rearranged some menu points
Automatic update function now works

The entering of digits into the cells is still done by mouse clicks.

I deliberately removed the keyboard entry of digits into the cells (it is still in the program, but it is deactivated).

To Ruud: when you do find a bug, please post a screen dump of it

Keyboard input is now enabled:
navigate with the arrow keys or the mouse
enter the digit on the keyboard or with the mouse
ctrl-1, ctrl-2, ... to exclude a candidate from a cell

minor cosmetic changes

It includes a resizable board and
enhanced display for the solver assistant:
- x-wing
- y-wing
- swordfish
- chains
- must rows and columns

- drag and drop of sudoku puzzle files onto the game board
- drag and drop of sudoku puzzle texts onto the game board
- generate multiple puzzles at once
- error fixing
