I'd like one forum only dedicated to collecting sudoku-puzzles.
There will be several databases, where everyone can add/delete/edit
sudokus.
OK, I'm going to register with a different name now,
start a thread "hard sudokus" or such in the puzzles-section
(an own section would be preferrable !)
and then make the password public, so anyone
can edit that posted list.
Is this OK, or are there problems with public passwords ?
Are there better suggestions ?
Guenter. |

I can see major problems with a "hard sudokus" list unless it sets very clear parameters as to what constitutes a "hard" puzzle. In it's current state, it could very quickly become a repository for just about any sudoku, even those with multiple solutions. What do you see as the purpose of such a list anyway? |

there had been much interest in hardest sudokus in the last time.
That should be reason enough.
There could be also some theoretical interest..
Yes, the parameters are not yet clear so we allow puzzles which
anyone wants to be included because he/she considers it hard.
When the list becomes too large, we might consider to do some filtering,
puzzles which are rated easiest by all programs will be deleted. |

Hi dukosu,
I appreciate that you're just trying to start a good collection of puzzles, but please don't post details of a username and password publicly.
It's much better if people add to your thread by making separate posts. Remember that if there are no new posts in a thread, it will drop off the bottom of the forum list, even if it is being edited constantly. That's not what you want! |

it doesn't matter anyway.
We should be able to handle the little traffic here either way... |
