This puzzle: Code: 1.......2 .9.4...5. ..6...7.. .5.3.4... ...91.... .....8.4. ..2...6.. .3...9.8. 7.......1 when fed into SE 1.2, on my AMD 64 bit cpu with a gig of ram, windows XP and the newest Sun Java, fails to gave an answer when I hit F9 (rate the puzzle.) It works for an hour (within a few minutes) and stops trying to solve and gives no message whatever. It isn't hung, it just stops looking. Other people report that this puzzle takes about 7 hours to rate and gets rated 11.4 (I think it was 11.4). Is there a way to make SE work that isn't common knowledge?
