I'm looking to solve Sudoku in Excel using Excel Solver or..

..alternatively the Excel Premium Solver.

So would need a spreadsheet set up accordingly with the restrictions, and the settings for the solver tool. Restrictions seem doable, but how to tell the solver to only use integer numbers, or integers from 1 to 9. This is what I so far failed to do.

Did anybody do it already? Is it available on the web somewhere?

In the Solver you can select as a constraint that a cell be integer, <= 9 and >= 1. That means three constraints per cell.

I have developed an Excel-based Sudoku puzzle solver. I did it using formulas (logic) only. Macros are not used to solve the puzzle. Furthermore, formulas are constructed using a single formula in each section of the solver. This ensures accuracy.

Any way for me to attach this file for others to see?
